An idea that came to me while talking Adventure time with a very close friend of mine when he was visiting from military leave. Marceline being a wily kid I believe she was I could theorize pressuring a weary Simon to cheer up a bit and take some funny-face pictures with her.

Update: Broke 300 + faves today! Thank you all! I agree the episode was great, but I got some work to do to make corrections for the sake of accuracy. A major example being, Simon is way to calm for wearing the crown. And I now realize Marcy's face is off as is her hair and clothing. But any excuse to draw these two is a good one to me.
